Naval Support Activity Washington (NSAW), encompasses the Washington Navy Yard, the oldest Navy installation in the U.S.; Naval Support Facility Naval Research Laboratory; Naval Support Facility Suitland; Naval Support Facility Naval Observatory; Naval Support Facility Arlington; and Naval Support Facility Carderock. 

As the “Quarterdeck of the Navy” and the host of many of our Navy’s central efforts in support of warfighters around the world, NSAW provides safety, security, and the best possible working environment to our supported commanders and customers. We accomplish our mission and support the missions of our tenants with professionalism, courtesy, and respect for all whom we serve.

Its demographics consist of more than 20,000 Service Members and their Families, Retirees, Reservists, DoD Civilians, and Government Contractors who live and work throughout the NSAW fencelines.

Sponsorship Opportunities

NSAW’s Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Program is a comprehensive network whose goal is to provide quality support and recreational services that contribute to and enhance the lives of the military and civilian community that live and work onboard the installations fencelines. Through Sponsorship, your company helps make it possible for NSAW MWR to provide these programs and services.

Facility Advertising

MWR places poster and banners advertisements in high traffic areas around the installation and now your company can too!  High traffic areas include our fitness facilities and food and beverage operations. MWR facilities receive up to 500 patrons daily. Pricing is based per facility.

Digital Advertising

Go digital with NSAW! Reach your customers through our large email distribution list.  We send out a monthly e-newsletter as well as weekly email updates.  Why not get social with us? Find your next customer by utilizing MWR’s Facebook, Instagram, and social media pages! Share your story with personalized tags via social media as a way to engage new customers. Space is limited to one post per week per company.
